A peptide complex developed on the hypothesis of increasing collagen production by stimulating signalling at the dermal-epidermal junction.
The TRL scale
We do not use clinical trial phase nomenclature, which would be inappropriate for devices, software and cosmetic products. The TRL 1–9 scale describes technological maturity, from a basic principle observed to a system proven in a real operational environment.
- TRL 10–11%
- TRL 212–22%
- TRL 323–33%

- The TRL 1–9 scale measures the technological maturity of a programme: the percentage marks its position along that scale, not its distance from market entry. Programme status updated August 2026.
The problem. The decline of collagen synthesis with age is one of the best described mechanisms of skin ageing, but acting on the signal that governs it, rather than only on the visible result, remains difficult.
The BioRegenis solution. A peptide complex developed on the hypothesis of increasing collagen production by stimulating signalling at the dermal-epidermal junction. As things stand the effect is a working hypothesis supported by ex vivo testing: it has not yet been verified in vivo, and it is not presented as demonstrated.
State of progress.
Prototyping — completed, 100%
Ex vivo testing — completed, 100%
In vivo testing — not started, 0%
Product development — under way, 80%
Next milestone. Start of in vivo testing and completion of the development of the final product form.
Expected applications. Dermocosmetic formulations intended to maintain skin structure.
